FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING OUR PARTIES:
Q: How do the presentations work exactly?
A: Upon arriving, all that has to be provided is a small area large enough to keep 8 - 10 small animal carriers (about a 2'x4' space). We ask that your group be seated in a semi-circle (either on chairs or on the ground). We will then place a small tarp in the middle, and dispense hand sanitizer to each child. The "Kopp's Kritters" handler will then introduce herself and the show begins! Each animal is taken out of their carrier and is passed around the circle for the children to touch and see. While this is happening the handler will dispense interesting facts regarding each animal. At the end of the presentation we will again pass out hand sanitizer, while doing this we will answer any last-minute questions.
Q: Can "Kopp's Kritters" perform for a larger audience (50+ attendees) in an auditorium setting? Can they do multiple shows?
A: Absolutely! We have the necessary audio equipment. We can do up to 3 one-hour presentations in a row before our animals become stressed. In this situation we ask that you give us a 60 minute break after 3 hours.
Q: Is a "Kopp's Kritters" presentation appropriate for an older audience? Say a High school/college level group? Or an adult living facility?
A: Again, Absolutely! We custom tailor our presentations to each group. Kids of any age will enjoy our educational, yet fun demonstrations, no matter the age. These shows offer a unique break of monotony in the lives of students as well as senior citizens living in adult homes.
Q: Is a "Kopp's Kritters" presentation appropriate for a younger audience (Under 3)?
A: We prefer doing our presentations for any group over 3 as we do dispense a great deal of information. We also have several interactive hands-on demonstrations as well. Our presentations tend to be best for children 3 years of age and older. We cannot emphasize this enough. Children in this age group do not seem to have the attention span needed for a 45 minute presentation.
Q: I have guests at my party who are not animal savvy!
A: Not a problem! Before the presentation begins, we ask that only those interested in touching the animals sit in the circle or toward the front (Depending on the room being used). This allows these guests plenty of time to move to the back-while simultaneously allowing them the opportunity to enjoy the show without having to get too close.
Q: Aren't exotic animals dangerous?
A: In the wrong hands they can be. That is why we are licensed to exhibit them in public settings. However, all of our animals are personal pets and actually prefer human interaction than interaction with their own kind! Only animals that do well in captivity and enjoy interacting with people are used.
Q: Can food/beverages be served during a presentation?
A: We ask that no food/beverages be served during a presentation. Not only is this unhygienic, the scent of food can make some of our animals jumpy.
Q: What type of animals do you use exactly?
A: Please see our "Animal Profiles" page.
Q: Do you offer any type of photo option?
A: You are welcome to take has many photographs as you like.
Q: Can I have an Outdoor party?
A: We can do outdoor parties when the temperature is between 60 F - 85 F.
Q: I am a third grade teacher and am currently teaching my class about the rain forest, would a visit from AA help be beneficial?
A: Absolutely. We offer a great hands-on program where children will be both delighted and interested. When visiting schools, we tend to work around the GA education curriculum in the information we offer. Again, we can offer a custom-tailored presentation to any group; just let us know!
Q: Can I choose which animals come to the party?
A: Will we make every effort to bring the animals you request, but sometimes the animals will need to rest from doing previous shows or not in the mood that day.
Q: Should I tip the animal handlers present at my event?
A: Gratuity is not included in the price of party packages, but is completely optional and under your discretion. It is much appreciated if you decide to.
Q: How do I book a party?

A Few Tips That Will Greatly Enhance Your Presentation:
" A close parking or unloading space. Please let us know in advance about any stairs or difficult access.
" Help keep the animals a surprise while we are setting up.
" Please withhold snacks during the presentation.
" For the safety of the children and the animals, please help us supervise the children.
" PLEASE have any adults who do not wish to participate in the presentation socialize in another room so that the animal handler presenting does not have to strain his/her voice as they are presenting to the children.
