Kopp's Kritters  The Mobile Zoo

Information "Kopp's Kritters" is a unique concept in education and entertainment using live animals for hands-on presentations.  We offer a variety of exotic mammals, reptiles, birds and invertebrates for age-appropriate, educational and exciting demonstrations. Teachers for all groups will benefit from the fact that the "field trip" will come to the classroom or day-care center. Parents will like the choice of something different and affordable for their child's birthday party. Corporations will have an easy choice of entertainment for that annual company family get-together.

WE ARE MOVING TO NORTH CAROLINA IN 2009 WE WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE TO DO SPECIAL SHOWS IN GEORGIA

Come visit Kopp's Kritters at these festivals CITY OF AUBURN JULY 4TH  FESTIVAL Auburn, GA Materfest Canton, NC AUG 2 & 3, 2008 We are looking for volunteers to help us during the festivals.  If you are interested please let us know.  You will be expected to work and not play with the animals.

Speciality Presentations

Classroom Programs: Age-appropriate productions will be arranged for combined classes in a school gym, cafeteria, common room, or for individual classes.  (We would prefer to limit large group presentations to 60 participants in order to insure a quality program.)

Retirement and Assisted-Living Homes: We will bring very gentle animals to the home for a visit in a common area with the residents for an informal pet-therapy session.  Animals usually used for these types of productions include rabbits, guinea pigs, and other fuzzy and pettable critters.  Reptiles will be brought upon request only.

Animals Available

Mammals: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Rats. COMING SOON:  Sugar Gliders, Hedgehogs

Fairs and Carnivals: Depending on the area available, we will arrange to bring a large variety of animals, in cages, crates and pens meant for extended presentations, where participants can freely touch and handle individual animals under supervision. This is a great opportunity for children to experience exotic animals up close and personal.

Reptiles & others: Bearded Dragons, Tanzinia Legless Lizards, Ball Python, Dumeril's Boa, California King snake, Trans Pecos Rat snake,  Uromastyx, Iguanna, Sulcata Tortoise.

Programs and Prices Due to Recent Problems with last minute cancellations there will be a $50 deposit to hold a date.

Linda Bishop, owner of Kopp's Kritters, has been handling exotic animals since 2000 and has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. Kopp's Kritters is fully insured and USDA licensed.
